You may be tired of the snow outside your door but you won’t get tired of watching the great winter sports of the Winter Olympics. There is something wonderful about watching these incredible athletes from all over the world compete. The US is strong in many of the events and its fun to see them succeed. However, it’s the way they all interact with each other that really tells a greater story.
The respect they have for each other and their opponents is a lesson for us all in the business world. They congratulate each other and treat each other with grace. They also know that this is the moment to do their best; win or loose. If we approached each day like this, how different would our lives be? Dedicated, determined and ready for whatever life brings us is just one of many things that can be learned from watching world class athletes. Another one is overcoming adversity which translates in any language. If you haven’t had a chance to watch any of the games, find the Winter Olympics and enjoy!
